For the next decade Melissa worked a full time job and looked after our 4 Kids from home, visiting Chaudiere when they could. I lived at the lodge from May until October visiting home one day a week and we built The Chaudiere Lodge into one of the most successful Ontario resorts of its kind. The Chaudiere experience for my family was outstanding, one of the greatest of my life. The best part of it all was the amazing people and families I met and sharing the Upper French River experience with them. It is truly an extraordinary place, one I fell in love with sharing! But in the spring of 2018 I realized how quickly my family was growing and how much I was missing. So I made the very difficult decision to sell Chaudiere to a wonderful fella by the name of Craig Purcell. This move allowed me to spend more time with my family. But now Melissa and I have decided to once again share the Upper French River experience with you but this time from our personal private island, two minutes from everything that The Chaudiere Lodge has to offer.
